Thank you for considering Monumental Health, LLC for your mental wellness needs. I am Dr. Linda Terry, a licensed psychologist with 15+ years of direct clinical care experience. Monumental Health, LLC is a virtual private practice that aims to meet our clients where they are. My role is to provide my clients with the information and tools needed to navigate their journey, as well as provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for insight building, acknowledgment, and healing. I process from a psychodynamic and person centered approach utilizing a culturally meaningful lens to aid clients in reaching their therapeutic goals. I also utilize narrative therapy approaches for facilitating insight, growth and change. Solution-focused and time limited approaches are available as well when suitable.
I am passionate about creating safe and inclusive spaces of healing for Black and Brown individuals. I've had the privilege to work in a variety of challenging settings: group homes, prisons, schools, social service agencies, inpatient mental health units, and substance use treatment. I am committed to helping my clients work through difficult emotions to attain the growth they are seeking.
Our Community Impact: MonuMental Health, LLC is a virtual private practice and community service-hub for mental health professionals. It Is our belief that we are having the greatest impact when we are visible and doing the work in the community. By engaging in quarterly service projects, we hope to send the message that: 1) mental health is vitally important; 2) mental health professionals are relatable; and 3) therapy is the ultimate form of self-care. Some efforts include the following: personalized food baskets for needy families, food and clothing drives, fundraiser/donations, free or discounted workshops, and collaborations with local groups that are already doing the work.
